Based on your description, it sounds like you have an oil leak in the front of the engine of your 2003 Chevrolet Venture. The first step you should take is to locate the source of the oil leak. Check for any visible signs of oil leakage and trace the oil trail to identify the specific component that's leaking. Common areas where oil leaks can occur in the front of the engine include: 1. Oil pan gasket: The gasket that seals the oil pan to the engine block can degrade over time and develop leaks. 2. Front crankshaft seal: This seal is located at the front of the engine and can start leaking due to wear and tear. 3. Valve cover gasket: The gasket that seals the valve cover to the cylinder head may fail, leading to oil leaks. Once you've identified the source of the leak, you'll need to replace the faulty component. If you're not experienced with automotive repairs, it's best to take your van to a qualified mechanic who can diagnose the issue accurately and perform the necessary repairs. They will be able to determine the exact part that needs replacement and fix the oil leak to ensure your vehicle runs smoothly and safely.
