I think you have 4WD or AWD and the transfer case is locked in 4WD causing the binding between the front and rear axles. I you don't have 4WD or AWD, then there may be something more obscure and you'll need someone to look at it. Get it checked ASAP because it's a safety issue if it's locked in 4WD. http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Car_Care/DIY/Replacing_Relays_in_Car_Electrical_Systems.aspx?pg=2 there are sensors throughout the van. I think there is one affecting the power steering too, and you may need to clean the relay or change the fuse for that in the relay. Read about it on the above site.
I'm very familiar with Toyota's need for excellent terminal connection especially the Ground. Which is why I started in this area. The problem started a day or two after I replaced the positive and cleaned the negative. So I'm looking beyond this area. Could a bad Neutral Safety Switch cause the Gauge fuse to blow? Will or should the vehicle start even though this fuse is blown? It seems others vehicles are running with it blown. I replaced the starter a couple years ago so it shouldn't be a problem but may look there next? only have 130K on the vehicle.
