Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Chevrolet Uplander. In some cases mixing coolant can cause a chemical reaction which can lead to sludge build up which can then lead to engine overheating concerns or other cooling concerns. If you are experiencing sludge build up in the cooling system I recommend having the engine cooling system flushed out completely and then the system refilled with the correct type of coolant to prevent any issues. This should be looked into and corrected as soon as possible to prevent further concerns.
