Hello, if there is indeed a problem with the fuel expectations in mileage, then testing should be performed to find out why this is the case. Yes, you can always judge how much fuel you have based off of more and other factors than the fuel gauge, but it would definitely seem like having an accurate gauge reading is something that would be pretty helpful and essential. yes the gauge would be helpful and I do intend to have the problem fixed. But my concern is even though I know the vehicle has a full tank of gas and the light on the fuel gauge comes on. My question is will the vehicle stall while driving down the highway because the gauge says it is empty or will I be able to keep driving knowing I have a full tank??
