What is your question?
My 2024 Chevy traverse rs barely has 2000 miles on it. Haven’t even owned it a month or made my first payment and it’s in the shop for repair of the transmission because it was leaking fluid. I will be paying extra for an app to do diagnostic testing after my” free” 3 months is up but Never once did this app say there was an issue. always said everything was good. Clearly it was not. It has been in the shop for over two weeks. Is they’re going to be a recall on the transmission?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your app didn't alert you about the transmission leak in your Traverse, it might be because the app primarily monitors electronic sensors and systems that trigger diagnostic trouble codes. A transmission fluid leak might not immediately trigger a code unless it affects the transmission's performance or fluid levels drop significantly enough to cause a sensor to detect an issue. As for a recall, it's best to keep an eye on official communications from Chevrolet or check with your dealer, as recalls are issued based on widespread issues. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
