Treat that diagnostic situation as a standalone concern separate from hot air blowing. Secondly, sounds like an electrical concern with the air conditioning system, perhaps with the operation under the hood with the cycle switch or the air conditioning coil or clutch on the compressor. I cannot be sure, but it sure seems like the system does not respond when turned on, and the blinking indicates an error is occurring. It's on testing of these electrical components as needed.
