What is your question?
I have a 2013 Chevy traverse that is overheating and there is no heat in the cabin. We have replaced the thermostat, coolant sensor - there are no leaks no smell of coolant in cabin (that I can tell) - it takes 2 min and 25 seconds for fan to shut off after it overheats and car is off. No error codes related to that (I do have one error code that was checked at O'Reilly's with check engine light but it's P0171) .
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse is driving it
How long has your 2013 Chevrolet Traverse had this problem?
Months (it's winter and repair times limited)

Hey, my name is Dusty, and I'm one of the auto experts with RepairPal's Car Genius team. I'm here to help! Your Traverse seems to exhibit a few concerns, most notably the overheating and lack of cabin heat. The fan continuing to run after turning the vehicle off is due to the engine overheating, even though the car is off. Overheating could be caused by a multitude of issues, such as a failed water pump, cooling fans, or mechanical issues like a blown head gasket. If you're not getting heat in the cabin, the heater core may be blocked, likely secondary to the overheating concern. Your P0171 error code, which indicates a lean condition, suggests the presence of a vacuum leak or other issue influencing the fuel trim values. Considering the symptoms, it's wise to have an experienced professional examine the vehicle to pinpoint all the issues.
