I have changed the Thermostat, Coolant and Temp sensor but i still get the overheating message on the dash. From a cold start first thing in the morning I 'll turn over the key and it will immediately read over heating and the fans turn on. What will cause this to happen? Should i replace the Water Pump as well?
How long has your 2013 Chevrolet Traverse had this problem?

No, stop replacing parts without performing needed testing. With a diagnostic tool, you can inspect and see what the engine's processor thinks the engine temperature is. I suspect it will be extremely high or out of range, causing the warning message. It will be necessary to perform testing on the related circuit to find out why the temperature is showing so high. I suspect possibly a wiring concern. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
