I replaced my transmission and now my car randomly won’t start, gauges go up and down randomly and I experience slow acceleration. Took to a mechanic he said it was the bcm, after he got it diagnosed at the dealer ship. Still had the same issue. Took it to triple AAA they said my battery terminal was off and needed to clean. Still having the same issue. Took back to triple AAA they said it was the pcm

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Chevrolet Traverse. Based on the information provided and with everything that has been checked into or replaced to try and resolve this concern and since this concern seems to have only occurred after the transmission was replaced in many cases this type of fault can be caused by a loose ground or power connection or even with a chafed or shorted wiring harness. When the transmission is removed and installed wiring is usually moved and disconnected, during that process in some cases a wire connection or a ground connection that may connect to your transmission housing may come loose or was not tightened properly which in turn gives you that gauge cycle as well as other various issues. I recommend having the wiring harness around the transmission inspected as well as power and ground connections checked into to see if a problem is found. If an issue is found it will need to be resolved. This is something that is best to have checked over by a reputable repair facility for proper diagnosis and repair.
