What is your question?
I noticed several months ago my car would not shift to the next gear, so I would pull over and put it in park and it would resume and shift just fine as though stopping and put it in park had reset it. This issue was happening very random once a month, twice a month for a while now it's doing it almost everyday. Someone said it maybe electrical and not necessarily in the gear box. Has anyone experience this and if so can you give me a tip. Thank you in advance.

I am have the same issue with my 2010 Traverse LS. I have been to the dealership 3 times. The problem happens intermittently and will not duplicate for the dealership therefore they can not diagnosis the problem. My level of frustration is extremely high. Can someone help.
130,000 on 2009 traverse having to replace the transmission and battery, per GM and mechanic, but still feel it is an issue with the ECU that damaged the transmission, $2,400 repair bill will see how long it lasts
I have 2009 traverse124,000 miles that the transmission just went out this weekend. Frustrated! Maintance and oil changes done every 3000 miles.
I just bought a 2010 Check Traverse that is doing this same thing. I took it back to the dealership twice so far. Also asked another shop I usually take my vehicles in to. I actually took a video of it when my car was having this issue because no one can tell me what's wrong since it won't have the problem when they test drive it. From the video I was told it seems like it is a transmission solenoid issue or electrical. We will see if they can figure it out and actually fix the problem this time.
My wife was having the same problem with her car not shifting out of 2nd and finally the Engine light came on So went to auto zone and had codes checked and it was the transmission module and solenoid that popped up but I did some calling to a transmission shop and told them the codes and they said try CHANGING THE AIR FILTER and this WORKED no more problem so far.
I too was experiencing the same type of intermittent issue with my 2010 Traverse. Desler stated tranny was at end of life and suggested a full repair. I took it to a quick lube place and git a transmisdion flush that the dealer did not want to do. It completely resolved my issue. I had 135,000 miles on my vehicle at the time and I have driven 5,000 miles sinsce trouble free. Hopelly this helps someone The transmission flush costed me less than $100.

I'm glad you did the transmission flush and had a good experience afterwards. I did a transmission flush on my 2005 Buick Lacrosse and it fixed the same problem. I'm currently looking at buying a 2010 traverse on FB marketplace for $2000 that talks about having the same transmission trouble and im thinking about rolling the dice on it since I had a good experience with doing the transmission flush before
I have a 2010 Traverse LS that does the same thing. I've taken it to 5 different garages for computer checks and nothing to do with transmission comes up. The no shifting happens every time I drive the car. Even after stopping and putting it in park and back in drive, if I take off any faster than 5 to 10 mph it continues to do it. The dealership can't even tell what is wrong. I will definitely get the transmission flushed to see if helps. Chevrolet should issue a recall for this since every owner has this problem. I only have 126000 miles on it.
