I was having a problem with the brakes so i replaced the calipers and pads on the front and the master cylinder has been replaced but the wheels are pretty much locked up and a ton of heat and smoke is created when i try to drive the truck. what could it be ?

what was the original problem with the brakes?? it may be the booster. there is a clearance between the booster and the master cylinder end piston that may be activating the brakes without you touching the pedal. Roy
I'm sorry it's an 2005 Trailblazer and it is my stepfathers truck. one of his calipers were tightening up so he replaced the right side caliper as well as the bearing on that same side. he says he can drive the truck but after about 10-15 minutes of driving he says they start to lock up and get screaming hot and produce a ton of smoke. he says he spoke to someone else that mentioned it may be the booster as well, if so is it hard to replace and where is the Booster located on the truck ? P.S. thank you for such a quick response to my first inquiry.
behind the master cylinder under the hood. very tight to work with. suggest you get a bid from a shop as if you have not done it before, it may be way over your head. Roy
