What is your question?

I ordered a thermostat and all the replacements dont bend 90 degrees like the original.I dont want to take off old one till I know I have the right part.

You mean thermostat or housing? I think housing.. You need the correct part. Did you order generic ones from the auto parts store or the correct part number form the dealer? If you haven't, try the dealer. They should be able to su;;ly you with what you need.
