Your looking at 4.8 hours labor for non positraction and 5.9 hours labor for positraction, Thats for remove and overhaul without parts. At $80 to $100 per hour for labor probably better off calling a truck wrecker and putting in a used rear end. Call around and get estimates from a shop that specializes in differentials.

just had mine done, went from a closed diff. to open and it cost me for an '03, total bill with parts was $1100 the '03s had a different size bearing and shaft so it's all new parts needed, no way to rebuild
