How do I change my headlight with out breaking the cover over the light.

You must first remove the grill, then there are retaining tabs which will release the headlight assembly from its mount.
the grill pops out, then you have two retaining tabs, one is semi under the fender at the top and they just pull up, and the headlight assembly comes forward, remove the cover off the back and turn the pig tail that holds the bulb to get to the bulb.
you can do it with assembly still in truck not need to remove anything except the round rubber seal at the back of the light. It is a little hard on the passenger side. The seal comes off and you can get your hand on the bulb assembly. Just look for the part that looks like a drum cover and you found it.
