I am wanting to keep the 2003 trailblazer but i am wanting to put a 2009 6.2 V-8 620 HP (6 speed manual Transmission) i know that this might not be such a easy job as i might be thinking but the vehicle means a lot tome and if is not as costly as i am thinking i would love to do it (i have not ask the mechanics that i am thinking of to do the job yet until i get the answers of how hard the job might be or not be and the price ball park

Anytime I see someone want to do this type of swop I recommend they sell the vehicle and buy the vehicle they want. This type of engine swop always ends up being complex unless you have a crashed car that you can take every last wiring harness out of and swop everything over to you car. Even then there is a lot of custom fabrication which gets time consuming and expensive. I love doing this type of work but it is a labor of love and you never recoup you time and money invested in the project. On top of that you run into legal Smog Test issues in most states and possibly need to notify your insurance company of the modifications.
