What is your question?
How do you remove the brake line clips that are attached to the brake line itself without cutting them?
How long has your 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer had this problem?

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question. On your 2003 Chevy Trailblazer there are 2 different types of retaining clips for the front brake line. The rear brake line is bolted on, so I am assuming that you are referring to the front brakes. In the front there is one clip that is cylinder shaped that needs to be gently pried open using a screwdriver. When going back on, be sure not to tighten it too much as you could inadvertently pinch off the line and cause issues. There is also a thin metal sort of u-shaped clip that attaches the line to a metal bracket. That one should just pull out with a little gentle prying with a screwdriver.
