blower motor only works on speeds 4&5 worked fine until week ago

Chances are the blower motor resistor has failed on your 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. If the switch tests OK and the connections at the resistor are OK then the resistor could very well be you problem.
where is the reswistor located?
