My instrument cluster remains permanently lit after car is turned off. All the other lights go out after a few seconds as they should. Why am I having this problem?

Seems like perhaps an electrical ignition switch concern or a key cylinder concern. Hard to say without checking a wiring diagram and tracing the power to where it is originating from. Since you can make the light go out by trying the key cylinder multiple times, it seems like that's a clue.
