Hello, it can be automatic transmission related, or it could be wheel speed sensing related. The stability control and anti-lock brake system uses the same set of components to function in a similar way. Something in this system is not reading properly - hands on testing will be needed to find out what is happening and why. Where you able to find the solution. I have an 05 Tahoe and am experiencing this same issue with the brakes locking, seeming losing power with service stability present. So far I’ve install a new front passenger side wheel hub/bearing and sensor; wheel speed sensor rear driver side. Any help is much appreciated thanks in advance!
