Heat blows out cold air....turn heat on and off several times then blows out heat..??

Last several times started engine and turned heat on and it blew out cold air. If I turn heat on and off several times and begin driving it usually starts blowing out heat. Is this a sign that its about to go out all the way ? Thanks.
