i have a 1999 chevy tahoe that is stuck in 4wd lo... when i put it in neutral and shift to 2-hi (push button) it shifts into 2-hi then back into 4-lo ON ITS OWN, then it will attempt to shift into 2-hi a second time on its own but will then go right back into 4-lo and remain there with the 4-lo light lit up. Upon observing it, i notice that the signal is being relayed and the driveshaft is attempting to rotate to disengage the 4wd but it is not fully being allowed to disengage...COULD THAT BE MY ENCODER MOTOR, THE 4WD ACTUATOR, OR THE Transfer Case Control Module ITSELF??? NEED HELP ASAP
