high rpms but won't pick up speed

What is your question?

I can get up to speed just fine as long as I push gas slightly like normal but if I was to speed up quickly and stomp on gas pedal then the RPMs will rise but I loose power well basically will stasy going same speed but acts like I wanted to speed up.

How long has your 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe had this problem?
