What is your question?
Driver / front door had minor body damage due to traffic accident. No broken glass or air bag deployment. Body shop replaced the door but now window will not express open or close. I assume they transferred all of the old parts from the old door to the new door. You can still open and close window with door switch. All other windows work correctly. Already tried to normalize / reset window by doing the up and down while holding switch for 5-10 seconds but that had no effect. Battery was disconnected, thinking a BCM reset might help. 2023 Suburban Premium

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. My first recommendation is that your vehicle is a 2023 model year, and may still be underneath the Chevrolet factory warranty. As a result, you may want to see your local Chevrolet dealer to find out what is going on. If it is outside factory warranty, you can definitely reach out to a shop near you for some help checking your concern out. A first gut feeling with your concern is - lubricate the window runs that the glass slides up and down within. When they are dry, the glass may stop because the system thinks something is in the way of the glass movement -- due to dry or chafed window runs. Simple lubrication of the glass runs may do the trick. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
