What is your question?
Often times in the morning, when I go to start the vehicle with the push button, it fails. The dash lights up and chimes. There's also a message directing me to turn the steering wheel to unlock but the car won't turn over or start. To get it started, I exit the vehicle, lock the door and use the remote start. I then reenter the vehicle, apply the brake and push the start button. This occurs often in the morning. I recently changed the key fob battery as well as had the vehicle battery replaced,

Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! I did see one instance in my research that called for a column lock module replacement. But first, check these suggestions! 1. Key Fob Problems: Check if the key fob battery is properly installed and functioning. Sometimes, even new batteries can be defective. 2. Faulty Key Fob or Connection: The key fob itself might be faulty, or there could be issues with its connection to the vehicle's ignition system. 3. Steering Wheel Lock: The message about unlocking the steering wheel indicates a potential issue with the steering column lock mechanism. 4. Ignition System Problems: This could include issues with the ignition switch, push button start module, or electrical connections related to starting the engine. 5. Security System Interference: Problems with the vehicle's security system, such as a malfunctioning immobilizer, could also cause starting issues. I hope this helps!
