engine revs but you go nowhere

What is your question?

driving along engine will keep rpm up but speed drops and its like your in Nuetral

What makes this problem better or worse?

shut off engine it resets and you can drive about a block then starts over again

How long has your 2010 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 had this problem?
