why after filling the tank on a 2008 surburban the engine begins to race?

after filling my tank, when i start the engine it immediately beging to accellerate at a high rate. for a period of time. but only upon completely filling the tank.

Do NOT “completely fill the tank” - when gas pump nozzle clicks off the first time > STOP refueling!
