My car doors unlocked while drive and the motor just shut off

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The confusing part for this question is - why did the doors unlock on their own? That part I do not understand. It sounds almost as if the ignition shut off and the doors unlocked as if during normal driving then parking. I really cannot guess why it would happen; loss of vehicle power from the battery and charging system could influence the concern - get a shop near you to evaluate your concerns with hands on testing.
