What is your question?
I have a 2015 Chevy sonic I noticed that the engine compartment was getting to extreme temperatures but was not overheating. I have replaced the radiator, radiator fan, and coolant temperature sensor. I have also made temporary splash guards for the under the radiator and passenger wheel wells as they were missing/damaged that lead to an improper low/high pressure balance. Next on my agenda is the thermostat. I have put in a lot of work thus far but I have noticed while working the radiator fan will not come when the AC compressor is engaged and will only come in when the temperature sensor reaches its threshold. To my understanding the radiator fan should always come on when the AC is engaged but this one will not. I have already checked all the relays and they are functioning properly. I followed the wiring harness and I couldn’t find anything exposed or broken. Any insight you could bring would be beneficial. Thank you in advance.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s an anomaly I’m not sure if this model just doesn’t kick on with AC
How long has your 2015 Chevrolet Sonic had this problem?
Since vehicle purchase (is used)

Your condenser fan / radiator fan should turn on with the compressor operating. If it's not, and the compressor works, then you could have a problem within the cooling fan systems. A high end diagnostic tool can interface with this system and command the fan to operate, verifying operation - and is needed to help troubleshoot the circuit.
