Not cranking

What is your question?

I did a transmission swap and pulled the engine to do so. Put it back together and it will not crank. I have power to the dash but nothing but a click when you try to crank it. I am going to check wiring again because i have had a number of people say that its a ground wire. Another thing i noticed is that the level of gas is not reading on the digital dash and i don't really hear the pump come on. Please help with any ideas.
