What is your question?
Can I use a bigger fuse? If so, what size? I have replaced the fuse 3 times within 5 to 10 minutes after the trailer is connected. So then there are no clearance lights on this 22 foot enclosed utility trailer.

Repair short circuit in the *trailer lights* ... 20 amp fuse is quite sufficient! .. Higher amp fuse not recommended.. It will just do the same thing and possibly fry the tow vehicle wiring in the process! Look for wire grounded out (rubbing) on trailer frame or at lights.
Sounds like a short somewhere and therefore replacing the fuse will only promote an unsafe condition and possibly an electrical fire. We can perform a diagnostic test to find the cause and fix it. Bring it to us when you can leave it for a half day. Team Tuffy
Thank you for your response. I had the wiring harness replaced today as well as the lighting. The fuse blowing occurred the same way with the old and new wiring. Anything else to consider that I may have missed?
Mismatched wiring between tow vehicle and trailer is the only thing it can be if no short circuits are present! .. If there were a problem (short circuit) in tow vehicle wiring.. Fuse would blow without trailer wiring hooked up... For an easy quick test... You can try hooking trailer to another tow vehicle.. OR .. Can try hooking tow vehicle to another trailer! .. Trailer wiring is universal for ALL vehicles... e.g., > U-Haul trailers.. > [Hint Hint]
