What is your question?
This has happened occasionally over the last month. No noises from brakes, no vibrating brake pedal and no noticeable effects on braking. Just an (ABS) lite ON and a ( (I) (P) ) emergency brake light ON STEADY, not blinking. All new rotors and brake pads with emergency brake shoes in the last 2 years or 10,000 miles. No brake fluid leaks, Master cylinder is full, braking seems to be normal. No brake fading.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Happens when engine is first started the lights stay ON until engine is turned off. Only twice trying to restart the engine the malfunction reset and both lights went OFF.
How long has your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD had this problem?
Has happened 3 to 4 times in the last month.
The ‘park brake‘ warning light has different functions - low brake fluid for instance - also indicates hard ABS failure. ABS scan test IS required.
