sometimes,it may be a fuse or relay.but most of the time the blower motor does go out.one other problem can happen,but i don't think it is your problem.the blower motor resistor goes out,it usually works on high speed only.if you want to check for power at the blower motor,it's not hard to do this.you will need a volt meter.it's mounted on the pass. side under the dash.what model is your truck?there are 8 different models.if it's an LS 2WD 4.8L,the blower motor is a little over $100.00.if you do it yourself.if taking somewhere,maybe $300.00-$400.00!!
It's an LS 2WD 4.8L. I checked the fuses, and they were good. A sharp rap on the blower got it working again, however. I guess that means I will need another blower motor soon, but at least I have some air now. Thanks to all for your help.
