All lights switches - erratically working on off will shut truck down

I'm having trouble with a Chevy Silverado 2010 all gauges lights instrument panels door locks go on and off by themselves truck will shut down then we'll restart about an hour later

What makes this problem better or worse?

It's happened twice since I've owned a truck
