What is your question?
2009 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton. I changed the rear brake shoes and am hearing a rubbing noise while i am driving. The brakes are working fine, but I forgot to put grease on the raised pads on the backing plate. Any suggestions?
How long has your 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
I just changed the brakes yesterday and as soon as I drove off I could hear it

Without hands-on inspection - no way to determine cause of “rubbing noise†.. Possible bent backing plate or brake mounting hardware problem.
Remove the drum on the wheel you hear the noise, something out of place, no other way to resolve.
