What is your question?
I have a 4.8L 2008 Silverado LS with approximately 145,000 miles. Recently it started revving high in 1st gear and would NOT shift until I let out of the throttle. It revvs between 3000 and 4500 rpm's before it shifts regardless of speed. Just two days ago, after driving it for 30 minutes, letting it sit for about 30 minutes and restarting it - The ignition was delayed, and when it finally fired, it shuttered. Like it wasn't getting air or fuel. Up until this point, my check engine light had been on. When it shuttered, the check engine light went off, but I still have the same issue. There is also acceleration lag in the other gears. When it goes into the passing gear, it revvs to 5000 rpms and lurches - I really try not to let it go to the passing gear. I've replaced the evap emissions sensor, the throttle control sensor (but not the entire throttle body), and the throttle position sensor. At this point, I feel like it may be a vacuum issue somewhere or possibly electrical. What the heck is going on with my truck? Thoughts? Suggestions? I don't want to keep throwing money at it and hope it resolves the issue. I've seen similar issues for trucks from the late 90's to 2007, but don't want to assume the same fixes apply here.
