What is your question?
We had a cold night last night, and I forgot to plug in my truck. Not thinking, I tried to use autostart to start it from my apartment, which came back stating it had started the vehicle. When I go to check on it, it had not started. WHen I go to start it manually, the starter turns the engine, and you can tell it's trying to start. Just when you would expect the engine to actually start, the starter disengages and begins free spinning. I don't believe it's the starter or the solenoid, because I just replaced both this past summer (reman, but it's been working well, even in the cold, for 6 months). I hesitate to say the flywheel, because sometimes it can take several cranks before it will disengage; it only starts free spinning when the engine is about to start; but, I don't know enough about flywheels to gauge for sure.
