What is your question?
On a 06 Silverado 1500 Z71, 5.3T motor; Service 4WD lit up. My push button 4wd selector only flashes when put in Auto 4WD,4H or 4L. 2H works good. Fuses all good, wiring seems intact. Cleaned ground wires under driver side frame. YouTube video showed problem with ohm meter parameters. Mine were all off, replaced the switch, cleared the code (C0379 Front axle circuit), no change. Transfer case engages, just nothing to the front end. What's next, actuator?

Yes .. IF transfer case engagement can be confirmed > with key on - engine off > you can hear the encoder motor actually shifting transfer case and front driveshaft is locking into gear ... Then the front axle actuator OR it's circuit IS indeed the next suspect.
Use the beginning of the video for testing purposes, not necessarily the same end results: https://youtu.be/u1-qaj2A3_I Now, have you already confirmed the front driveshaft IS indeed locking into 4x4? .. *Reply after watching video*.
The only thing I can tell happening is the transfer case sounds as if it is shifting, but there is no sound or anything felt by hand at the actuator. This happened sudden, no previous problems since I've owned it. I should hear or feel something at the actuator, correct? 4H & 4L light flashes and 2H remains a constant light. It seems the only thing not working is the front end engaging. Either way, its time to trade, but I'd rather spend under a $100 if the actuator is the problem vs. a thousand or two knocked off the trade value.
Here's how I test em 'at the shop' .. Hoist vehicle on *automobile lift* with a helper in the cab .. Have helper start engine and shift transfer case into 4x4 and transmission into drive .. 'IF' front driveshaft starts rotating but front wheels do not .. Front actuator is not working! .. 'IF' front driveshaft fails to rotate .. Problem is in shift motor or transfer case... Suggest having repair shop do this testing as a 'professional grade' scan tool can monitor transfer case module/operation on live data screen... Good luck with it!
Thanks, I'll try that next. Trying to work my daily job and work on truck when I have the time. I bought an actuator and with the cost and the "no return after install" policy, I just connected the actuator plug to the new one without installing it and the plunger never moved. But, I don't know if it should work if not actually installed, if it would work without the codes cleared again. Just grasping straws now...transfer cases engages, new switch appears to work since transfer case engages, just curious if maybe I have a bad wire somewhere between the actuator, switch or transfer case.
