Took it to an individual.....he seems to think throttle body sensor......does this sound like a possibility ?
I did in earlier replies... It would turn over and sound like it was stuck but it wouldn't start, only if you held the pedal to the floor. Then it would idle around 1000 rpms and then eventually kick down. Also, the temp gauge would stop working.....sorry.....thought you could read all of my post
Sorry , I haven't kept good track lately , but as far as truck idle issue , the sensor -or control system(idle/cold start) can easily be monitored and verified with a good OBDII scanner (live data), KEY word -VERIFIED ...Sorry again , been out of loop a little , good luck.
OK....thanks......the guy just walked out and said.....that's what happens to all Chevy trucks....did not offer to put a scanner on it.....lol. My luck.......I'll try to find a real mechanic to take a look at it...lol. Thanks for your input
