check out ebay.several on there that offer a repair service pretty reasonable.you have to ship your cluster to them.some offer a 24 HOUR turn around with warranty.if you do this read ALL details of the service and pick one that has repaired lots of them and has very good POSITIVE feedback! REGROUP... this is the one i would go with(tradesman2013) "eBay item number:262169394912" (Lifetime Warranty). he has a positive feedback score of 411 with 100% and that's very good,no negatives.$59.99 plus $10.00 shipping.you can still drive the truck without the cluster in it and don't worry about your miles, your computer keeps up with them.just read it,what they repair.
This is a common issue on all the 03-06 GM trucks and is caused by a problem with the gauge cluster where the menu gets stuck and continually scrolls through the language menu options. It's definitely fixable but requires the gauge cluster be removed and opened up and fixed by someone with experience with that specific problem.
