Failed instrument cluster - repair services available - use Google. Cluster can be purchased from many auto parts store BUT must be per-programmed for that vehicle! Have parts store confirm that will be performed by the supplier. Repair service simply fixes the existing cluster so no programming is necessary. Good luck !
This is a common problem on all 03-06 Silverados and is a gauge cluster issue. There are several problems inside the gauge cluster that go wrong which will cause it to stay powered off or intermittently go on/off. Sometimes cold and hot will affect it but it can be random also. And sometimes you can tap on it and it will come back on temporarily. But ultimately the gauge cluster will need to be repaired as the problem usually just gets worse over time. In case you haven’t checked the fuses - below is a link to the fuse box diagram https://www.autogenius.info/chevrolet-silverado-gmt800-mk1-first-generation-1999-2007-fuse-box-diagram/ ⚠️ It is quite common to experience ‘instrument cluster’ failures with these vehicles ⚠️ Check fuses first! (There’s more than one fuse)
