What is your question?
I leave my truck sitting for a couple of days and the battery is drained. I replaced the battery twice thinking the first time the battery was bad cause it got swollen. But one night I turned on my truck to run it and it was running fine for a few mins and then it just died but everything else was on and it struggled to start. I inspected the battery and it looked like it was leaking acid and got swollen again. I took my truck to get the alternator tested and apparently it’s fine. It has a rough start and idle sometimes but after driving it around it’s back to normal I’m not sure what could be draining the battery.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I disconnect the battery
How long has your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

Have a professional check the charging system at a real auto repair facility.
Battery drains on 03-06 Silverados are very often caused by the gauge cluster surprisingly. It turns out they often get hung in a mode where they won't fully power down when the key is removed, this causes the gauge cluster to draw current until the battery is drained, usually in a day or two. I have determined the exact cause inside the gauge cluster and have repaired many many of them solving the frustrating and sometimes expensive battery drain issue. Sounds like the truck has a battery drain. One of the system on the truck its could be staying on
Battery swelling is indicative of over-charging - have professional personnel TEST charging system. Good luck!
