What is your question?
Is there a way to tell if you have a 1 or 2 electrical connector on a Chevy Silverado 1500 fuel pump without taking off the bed to view it?

see other post.if you are sure the pump is bad,and you're going to replace it,then you will have to remove the bed or drop the tank anyway.other than trying to see the connector/connectors by getting under it with a flash light and/or put it on a lift to look.or just buy the 2 or 3 pumps that may fit your truck and return the ones you don't need!if it's a 4 door QUAD CAB,no use to remove the bed,the pump is under the back seat!
Thanks for the reply, however, it is in the tank. I have changed it once before. That time I dropped the tank. I plan to slide the bed back about 3 feet to access it this time. Just wondered if there was a way to tell how many connectors were on the top of it without having to expose it first, being that I cant recall how many there were on the top the last time I replaced it.
where ever you bought the last one should be able to look up the pump under your warranty file, even if the warranty is expired,by name, phone number.etc.and that would tell you which pump you bought!
