What is your question?
2000 chev Silverado 1500 4.3L automatic, a/c, only the parking brake light flashes when you engage the emergency brake, I do hear a buzzing noise when putting the vehicle in run position and turn off again, if I do it on and off makes that buzzing sound I thought was fuel pump, I do hear it slightly while driving, I just redone the entire rear brakes, pads, rotors, emergency pads, with update kit, but the light still flashing when i engage, not sure what to check, thought it was switch, but changed still flashing
What makes this problem better or worse?
Temp not matter
How long has your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
Since I bought it

It is just an ‘indicator’ to alert the operator that the park brake is engaged.. As long as it only does this in sequence with parking brake applications and at no other time - - the parking brakes AND service brakes are functioning ok - does it really matter if flashing or not? Now transmission MUST be in the PARK position as well .. Light may very well flash if transmission is in gear with parking brakes on!
