When i press the button to shift into auto 4 or 4hi I can hear the transfer motor shifting however the light on the selector just flashes. Wont do anything until I press the 2wd button then it goes solid 2wd. I have replaced the actuator an transfer case shift motor.

While on dry pavement / parking lot - shift into 4 hi - make a sharp turn right or left - do you feel 4x4 *buck* - I'll be very obvious IF 4 wheel drive is engaged! Thing is 4x4 might actually be engaged - just not indicated on dash switch.. This is for testing purposes only - do not continue 4x4 operation on 'dry' pavement! With test results - I can can offer more assistance.

It does not appear to be in 4hi. No noticable bucking like it is in 4 wheel. It also doesnt seem like the front axle is engaged.
This next test may not be possible without proper lifting equipment and knowledge of the dangers within.. Vehicle will need to be hoisted - 4x4 engaged - transmission in gear - does front drive shaft rotate - BUT - front wheel does not ?

Front drive shaft does not spin. I can here the transfer motor changing. But light on dash only flashes and no spin.
Likely the plastic inserts attached to shift fork inside transfer case have worn down and not allowing complete shift to take place - IF familiar with this system - can remove shift motor and manually shift transfer case using ptoper tool on the stub shaft - IF no front drive-shaft engagement then - problem IS internal to transfer case.
I don’t know your skill level but even IF it is internal to transfer case - it’s not that difficult to repair - provided you have the proper tool and talent. Maybe got a buddy that’s auto repair savvy that will lend a hand. Good luck with it!

I have gotten no service 4wd light indication on my dash. Is that normal for what you are saying.
Well you see as far as the transfer case module is concerned - since transfer case shift has actually occurred - truck supposed to be in 4 wheel drive - but in reality it is not. *Hands-on* testing will provide the final answer! ... Ain’t nothing going to happen up front until that front driveshaft starts spinning..
In other words - the module that controls the encoder motor (shift motor) thinks everything is functional since the shift did take place - so it doesn’t know anything else is wrong = NO service four wheel drive message is displayed.
so here I am again. Okay I had my truck hooked to a diagnostic computer. With the computer we where able to command the truck to go into 4 hi and low and everything worked. When we selected those options with the computer the 4h light would come on and stay on and the 4h would engage and work. Same with 4L and back into 2wd. Without the computer it would go back to the old problem and if I push the 4H button it only flashes. Was told that my transfer case control module was the problem. Changed that and the light flashing is the same. So I dont think it is a problem with my transfer case it seems to be an issue with electrical. Could it be as simple as the switch itself. Or could it be the Four Wheel Drive Indicator Lamp Switch on the front diff?
Hell yes - - REPLACE THE SWITCH!!!
Dash switch..
dash switch replaced with a new one and no luck. Still doing the same crap. Would I need to take it to a chevy dealership to have the tccm reflashed or programmed or something? I dont think I have any parts left to replace unless im missing something.
You have already stated the FRONT driveshaft wasn’t turning - I must assume it was during scanner functionality test ... that tells me the module will do it’s job if it gets the right command - which the switch is responsible for. I’m out of ammo!
