To slip out of gear from 2nd, after stopped and parked and key removed from ignition?

I suppose it's possible but it wouldn't matter if the park brake was engaged. .... Shifter is easily bumped or 'pushed' into neutral from 2nd gear, more so than 'pulled' out of 1st into neutral.. Did vehicle roll off on it's own after parking?
Yes. My husband has been known to leave the truck in neutral, turn it off and take his feet off the pedals, and if it doesn't move he hops out. We have a sloped driveway. He got out, turned to talk to the neighbor ad it rolled down the driveway, hit a small pothole at the bottom, turned the wheel so we thought it was going to be ok, then caught the edge of the road and barrel rolled down a 100+ foot embankment and into the lake. If it didn't hurt so much I would laugh about it.... I know for a fact that the clutch and its components were in great shape, and I've been told that it is nearly impossible for it to just pop out of 2nd....guess I'm just trying to determine if it was mechanical or dumbass... As I look out the window at my as yet unpaid for, totaled truck...
Well Keli 1022.. S--t happens! .. Nobody got hurt (physically) is the main thing though.... I kinda know how you feel, operating a tow truck for years... I've seen just about everything that can happen to a vehicle... One of which was brand new and the folks were just on their way home with it!.. Driver was fooling around with the new gadgets and ran off the road,... about 6k in damages.. There again, nobody got hurt!! .. I won't laugh either... I've done some pretty silly s--t to em myself!
