What is your question?
my radiator is 15 years old still in good shape, i just want to rod and clean up my old radiator instead of replacing a perfectly good radiator. hard to find a shop in the Cypress, Texas 77433 area that repairs radiators.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'rod and clean up' your 'perfectly good radiator'. If it's not leaking or restricted internally, I would simply recommend flushing the coolant, which should be done periodically to maintain the radiator, as well as checking the condition of the attached hoses and replacing if needed. Please respond with further details if there is a problem with the radiator that I haven't understood from your question.
Haven't heard that old phrase 'boil and rod' in so many years, almost forget!!!... Today's radiators no longer require that service!... As stated a good flush should do the trick... IF you still have radiator problems... Replace it!!
Rodding means removing the end caps, so you can push a small rod from one side of the radiator fins to the other side, this will remove any and all build up in the fins. clean up would be placing the radiator in a hot bath to remove any and all trash that had built up over the years ie. dirt, grease and bugs, when all the rodding and cleaning is done you reseal the end caps the radiator is now like brand new.
