What could be wrong with my pickup? Sometimes it starts easily and sometimes not

Possible dead spot in the starter,The contacts wear out preventing the starter from spinning when power is applied. When you move the car, you are spinning the starter just a bit, moving the contacts in a different location that's why it randomly starts. Try "Tapping the starter with a Mallet n pry bar while a friend turns the key if it starts, replace starter.
