What is your question?
My 2000 chevy s10 pickup just started being very hard to shift. The clutch has no problems, just seems like the transmission doesn't want to shift. I was thinking it could be low on transmission fluid, but I don't know where to check it. Can you help?

There is a threaded plug in the side of the transmission - size and location varies on different transmission types. If the fluid level is correct it should just begin to run out of the hole when you remove the plug. If you find you must add fluid check your owners manual to find out what type of fluid to use in the manual transmission of your 2000 Chevrolet S10.
If the transmission is hard to shift it is most likely not the fault of low fluid, if the fluid is low it generally results in a slower, not necessarily harder shift unless the fluid is pretty much all gone. there is most likely a small screw-like bolt on the mid top section of the transmission(most likely drivers side) It should take an allen wrench to take off, the fluid should be to the top, while your at it, go to the bottom, find the other screw, drain it, and flush it with some more transmission fluid. It could also be a bent fork from in-proper shifting, but try the most cost effective way first, check the fluid by the plug. A 2000 I believe takes dex IV, something like 6 qts due to the size of the engine/transmission duo (4.3L)
