gas pedal tapping my foot, then power steering went.. battery gauge and check gauges lights came on on the dashboard.. what is going on

it was a bit jumpy on my ride home,, all this started today

What makes this problem better or worse?

no clue.. but for a while after i turn the truck off it sounds like a pebble war clanking in the truck
