Brake Lights

Sounds like the brake light switch has failed. AND, very possibly wiring in the connector that plugs into this switch could be burned, shorted or melted. Look very closely here.

I had the same problem in my 1998 it turnes out its the brake light switch that has failed. either take the old off and clean the inside far connection or replace the entire switch. clears up brake light problems. thats whats causing that fuse to continue to blow out.
